Industrial 3D Printing Service FAQs
Common questions regarding materials, ordering, minimums, and shipping for industrial additive manufacturing.
What industrial 3D printing technologies do you provide for manufacturing clients?
We provide four core industrial technologies: Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) & HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) in PA12 Nylon for durable isotropic production parts; Stereolithography (SLA/DLP) in engineering resins for mirror-smooth visual mockups; Industrial FDM in ABS, PC, and TPU for large jigs and enclosures; and Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) in Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Titanium for extreme duty components.
What is your typical turnaround time and quote speed?
We provide automated and engineer-reviewed quotations within 2 to 24 hours in USD. Standard prototype parts are dispatched in 24 to 48 hours, while production batches of 50 to 5,000+ units ship within 4 to 7 business days via global expedited DAP logistics.
What tolerances and quality standards can you guarantee?
Typical manufacturing tolerances are ±0.1 mm for SLS/MJF Nylon, ±0.05 mm for high-resolution SLA, and ±0.15 mm to ±0.2 mm for industrial FDM. For metal DMLS parts requiring tighter fits, we offer secondary CNC post-machining to achieve critical bearing tolerances down to ±0.02 mm.
Do you sign an NDA before reviewing proprietary 3D CAD files?
Yes. We sign a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with all enterprise and manufacturing clients prior to file transfer. All CAD files, engineering drawings, and proprietary geometries are stored on encrypted servers and never shared with third parties.
What CAD file formats do you accept for quotation?
We accept STEP (.step, .stp), IGES (.igs), STL, OBJ, and native SolidWorks (.sldprt, .sldasm) files. High-fidelity STEP files are preferred because they preserve exact parametric NURBS surfaces for DFM review.
